| End Cap - used at top end of spine and top of L/E to protect end of spar and the sail itself.

| Nock - used at bottom end of spine and of L/E. Low profile type used if there is a risk of tangling.

| L/E fitting - L/E permanently through hole at top right. Spreader fits into hole at bottom left when fully assembled.

| T-piece - Spine fits through hole marked in white. Lower spreaders fit to holes marked in red.

| Spar grabber - lower spreader clips into left side Stand-off is fitted permanently into right side

| Sail grabber - piece on right side goes through sail Stand-off is fitted permanently into left side

| Wingtip Tensioner - a bungie cord or neoprene O ring may also be used to tension sail onto nock at end of L/E or spine.

| Alloy Ring (1cm diam) - Often used in the bridle assembly where tow-point is attached.
|
| Sleeving - to protect the flying line where knotted. Shown with a bodkin (blunt needle) used to thread lines through it.

| Ferrules - join 2 spars end to end. Leading edge is usually made of 2 equal parts joined this way.
